Dr. Ken Pfeiffer is a cofounder of the Pain Relief Center and a director of the Medexcel Corporation, which develops innovative pain measurement equipment and is engaged in ongoing research on pain. After receiving a Ph.D. in psychology from UCLA, he  taught there in the departments of Psychology and Engineering. He spent thirty years teaching and doing research in psychology, consciousness, and problem solving. He is master teacher and the recipient of the rarely awarded Distinguished Lecturer Award.  He is also the author of numerous books and professional articles on psychology and problem solving. Dr. Pfeiffer is the author of the Book/Tape program and the inventor of the biofeedback device.

Dr. Pfeiffer  was completely debilitated by back pain -- unable to get out of bed for months at a time. After researching all the relevant medical literature  and traveling to distant places to study ancient healing methods, he was finally completely cured of pain. This miracle  motivated him to help others overcome their own pain.


Dr. Bruce Trotter is a cofounder of the Pain Relief Center and a director of the Medexcel Corporation. Born in 1924, he served in the Navy in WW II as a Medical Corpsman. He attended USC, where he received  bachelor and masters degrees in physiology and a Ph.D. in psychology. He has been a licensed Clinical Psychologist in private practice for 35 yrs. He was also a Vocational Counselor for the Veterans Administration, and a  Forensic Psychologist and polygraph operator for the Long Beach Police Dept. He was also a Counselor and Psychology teacher at Long Beach City College. He has taught psychology at Santa Barbara City College for the last  29 yrs. Dr. Trotter is the inventor of the Electroalgiograph (EAG), which measures pain levels and discriminates between imagined pain and real physical pain.

Dr. Trotter has suffered back pain, cancer pain,  and other pain which have been successfully controlled by the techniques you can learn from the Pain Relief Center.


Kathy Hughes is a cofounder of the Pain Relief Center and a director of the Medexcel Corporation. Kathy is extensively involved with research, development, and service at the Pain Relief Center. She suffered from severe, debilitating migraine headaches before they  were completely cured  by the methods available from the Pain Relief Center.

Kathy has traveled to Nepal and Tibet to learn to learn and understand the ancient wisdom and secrets of adepts and mystics of the East. Combining these with modern science, she helps people over come their physical and emotional pain.
